I’m thrilled to announce that my new album, ‘become the sky,’ is officially out now! It’s a collection of meditative, piano-led pieces, deeply exploring themes of change, travel, and the profound feeling of returning home.
‘become the sky’ was recorded at the beautiful Australian Chamber Orchestra’s studios, nestled on picturesque Sydney Harbour in the historic Walsh Bay Arts Precinct. The recording space itself became an integral part of the album’s sound: it’s vast and echoic, yet there’s a purposeful, tangible sense of intimacy woven throughout. What began as a two-day session for an EP quickly unfolded into something more; I ended up recording 11 tracks, each captured in straight takes. I really wanted to trust in the organic approach to the recording process, aiming to capture each moment in its most authentic form. You can get a glimpse behind the scenes and be a fly on the wall in the making of the album here.
Music has this incredible power to fuel our minds, transport us to different places, and help us hold onto deeply felt memories. In our fast-paced, often anxiety-fueled world, ‘Become the Sky’ was written to be a musical companion – a way to slow down and truly appreciate life in slow motion.
May it be that for you.

With the passing of one year and the start of another, it’s common to look back introspectively and then look ahead, re-evaluating our perspectives and perhaps metaphorically hitting a reset button. For some that idea can seem a bit daunting. I admit it can be for me however I try to focus on how cleansing starting anew can be …
I wrote ‘Tomorrow’s Light’ in view of these many mixed emotions we feel as humans – fear, vulnerability, strength. What we can be to other people and what we can be to ourselves.
With influences ranging from Alice in Wonderland to the 13th-century poet Rumi, these four solo piano pieces offer a moment of intimacy and calm. Stripping back the complex layers, ‘Tomorrow’s Light’ is based on sentimental reflection, yet looks forward to reconnecting and stepping into new territories.
I hope you enjoy a little introspection and solitude while listening.
I wrote and recorded ‘Silently Drawn’, which conveys trying to slow things down. Delving into our own senses, our own selves, and making time to be drawn towards and ponder over the things that really matter … 💛
My new album ‘A World Outside’ based around a very unique road trip I embarked on last year is coming out Oct 27th 2023.
Road trips have always played a pretty large role in my life. They have this amazing ability to transport us elsewhere. There’s a sense of freedom and adventure that are pretty hard to match I love the challenge of the unexpected, and this one was that…
It was a momentous one, hundreds of miles away from civilization, a land steeped in ancient indigenous and geological history, following a landscape bathed in magical red and orange hues…
Just like the scenery on a road trip transports you, I think music does the same thing, it heightens that sense of emotion and taps into that deep sense of our own selves… I wanted to douse myself in this landscape’s wild and untamed openness interpreting that experience through music. It’s a way of making lasting memories and this album is my way of documenting that… I look forward to taking you there…
In Celebration of World Sleep Day 2023, 22 universal music group artists from across the globe debut 50 new pieces. Music has always played a significant role for me in quieting the mind. My contribution, Time To Forget, is about culling the vast amount of information the brain collects, absorbs and processes throughout the day and letting it all go. The melody has this purposeful hypnotic riff throughout lulling you into that peaceful quiet space we all love to go and this kind of ambient music is an inviting way to take you there. I hope it brings you the quietude this kind of music brings myself.
The track features my long time beautiful friend and Cellist Peter Hollo and some spectacular soprano vocals performed by Sandra Lui and Josephine Stark.
